Dr Sanjeev Balakrishnan

He is an experienced family physician with a Master of Medicine in Family Medicine from the National University of Singapore. A Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and fully accredited in Singapore, he brings over two decades of clinical experience to his work.

His special interest lies in helping people reverse obesity, type 2 diabetes and metabolic syndrome through evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle strategies. He strongly supports low-carbohydrate, healthy-fat and carnivore dietary approaches, which he also follows personally.

Actively involved in advancing metabolic medicine, Dr Sanjeev regularly attends national and international conferences and serves on the Scientific Committee of the Australasian Metabolic Health Society.

For him, the most rewarding part of practice is seeing patients transform their health through simple yet powerful changes in how they eat and live. His calm, evidence-driven approach and deep commitment to patient-centred care continue to inspire many on their journey toward better metabolic health.
